The ingenious Slingshot Sling™ transforms a conventional socket brim into a Slingshot Socket™ by replacing its static and rigid brim with a soft and adjustable brim. The Slingshot Sling™ can be retro-fit into many conventional static sockets, or can be integrated into a new socket fitting. The Slingshot Sling™ is a simplified configuration of the Slingshot Fusion™, offering equal brim comfort and upper socket adjustability.

This socket configuration is advantageous for those who want more brim comfort, but who have a well-fitting socket otherwise (except for the brim). It is also a perfect socket configuration for those with suction or vacuum suspension since the lower half of the conventional socket remains intact.
