The majority of the global amputee population does not have access to a Prosthetist or traditional fabrication methods, so we created a simple-to-fit, ultra-comfortable socket technology that enables amputees in the furthest reaches of the world to now have equal access to long-lasting comfortable prosthetics.

We love serving amputees first-hand, and being a direct part of their journey to a restored quality of life through comfort. The Slingshot Clinical Team has more experience in fitting Slingshot Sockets™ than anyone. We expect that everyone who is fit through our Slingshot Clinics walks out declaring that it is the most comfortable socket they have ever worn. The Slingshot Clinic is the best option for maximizing comfort.

If billing insurance for the Slingshot Socket™, contact Slingshot Bionics to begin the insurance verification process. The Clinic will bill the insurance using established socket coding.

Local Prosthetist Fitting

Want to Test Drive the Slingshot Socket™, and experienced what it feels like first-hand?

We have created a network of local Prosthetists who are already trained and experienced in fitting the Slingshot Socket™. We'll facilitate making the introduction and getting them equipped with the selected socket configuration to Test Drive the Slingshot Socket™.

Local Prosthetists will typically bill the insurance provider for the Slingshot Socket™, using established Medicare/insurance coding and pricing.

Slingshot Clinic Fitting - Without Using Insurance

For those who prefer to bypass insurance or who do not have coverage, Slingshot Bionics offers the option of private pay to be fit through a Slingshot Clinic using a credit card, debit card, or other out-of-pocket payment methods. This is a great path for those who want immediate access to comfort without the delays of insurance processing. For many, a private pay Slingshot Socket™ can be similar in cost to a typical insurance deductible. The Slingshot Clinical Team has more experience fitting Slingshot Sockets™ than anyone. We expect that everyone who is fit through our Slingshot Clinics walks out declaring that it is the most comfortable socket they have ever worn.

For those in parts of the world who do not have access to a Prosthetist and who cannot travel to a Slingshot Clinic, our Slingshot Clinical Team offers Tele-Health video-call support, to provide step-by-step guidance of the Slingshot Socket™ adjustments.

This can be a convenient option for technically savvy users who feel comfortable using hand tools such as Allen wrenches and scissors, and who are comfortable making guided alignment adjustments.

Great attention to detail and precision in following the training materials and instructions is important for a Tele-Health appointments. Working directly with a Prosthetist or Slingshot Clinic typically provides the best clinical outcome.
